Pictures from today near the sea!

Thank you all for your prayers for our show tonight!  It was a great show! We arrived early to get all set up, work out some bugs and run through our program once before the performing element our of tour began. Our shows in Israel are different than at home because our sound company has to basically create a theater where ever the show is at, unlike the Worship Center where everything is set up and ready to go.  We are blessed this year to have a great, hard working technicians from Yedakol Sound and Light.  They did a wonderful job setting up for us and being ready to do a show at Beit Halochem. (House of the Solider)

Beit Halochem is a community center where soldiers who have been wounded in the many conflicts of the last 60 years, and their families can come and participate in many different activities.  It was a great blessing to be able to do a performance for these courageous and wonderful people.  Without their sacrifice, we may not have an Israel to visit!

Many of our friends came to the show this evening as well and we were able to spend time with them before and after the performance tonight!  What a blessing!

The pictures are from our touring stop today in Caesarea. All of the performers did various poses in the aqua duct that brought water to Caesarea over 2000 years ago!

Our First Performance

Right now it is 5:35 pm here in Israel and we are at Beit HaLochem in Ramat Gan to do our first show. It is a fitness center for soldiers that have been wounded in their military service. We are in the process of going through a rehearsal of the show and "dusting off" our steps and choreography since it has been a week since we did the Friends and Family Show. They are expecting a full house this evening and we are excited.

This morning some of us slept in a bit to catch up on our rest and some of us woke up very early (against our wishes) and made our way down to the Mediterranean for a refreshing morning swim. We spent our touring time today visiting the Crusader/Roman city of Caesarea and talking about the important role this city played in the spreading of God's Word throughout the world. It was a beautiful, sunny day and the sunscreen was flowing freely.

Our show is at 9 pm this evening...noon Denver time. Please be praying for us as we do this first show that the hearts of the people in attendance will feel the presence of God as we sing and dance. Thanks to all of you for your prayers and encouragement!
